SHERYL MORRIS

Sheryl is a Personal Trainer and Strength and Conditioning Coach based in Eastbourne. She helps her clients improve their physical and mental health using weights and resistance training - from body to re-composition and mental health management to strength building and general fitness improvement for all abilities.

Sheryl has worked with a range of clients including first time gym goers to powerlifters looking to compete after finding a passion for weights in 2017 and going on to compete at powerlifting. She wanted to prove that not only women, but also vegans, deserved their place in the world of strength! 

After wanting to get into shape and trying to navigate the gym alone, Sheryl felt utterly unmotivated and hopeless until someone introduced her to weights, it was one of the best decisions she ever made. "The barbell not only made me look how I wanted, it was therapy, it did wonders for my mental health"

After training for a few years, Sheryl decided that helping others get into training was the perfect career choice for her. 

"I wanted to help others realise the wonders of weight training, those who don't think they'd ever be confident enough to walk into a gym or pick up a barbell. People just like me. I became a coach to help these people realise their potential, that the gym and exercise are for everyone, no matter your size, age or gender. Not only that but exercise isn't just for aesthetics and that shouldn't always be the goal; exercise is for the mind as much as it is for the body."
